If you’ve been watching Twitch from the sidelines (or deep in the chat spam), you know when internet drama hits, it hits hard. The story of Mizkif, his ex-girlfriend Emiru, and a barrage of scandal is exactly the kind of combustible content that demanded a soundtrack.
Hence: Too Many Miztakes.
Here’s the timeline, the key moments, and how it all inspired a funderful diss rap you’ll want to blast in your headphones.
Mizkif (real name Matthew Rinaudo) has long been a major player in the Twitch/creator scene – cofounder of One True King (OTK) and a streamer known as much for his personality as his controversies.
There were already past whispers: cover-up accusations, roommate drama, racially “insensitive” comments, and an organizational leave of absence from OTK in 2022.
So when Emiru came forward after TwitchCon in October 2025, the stage was set.
On a livestream, Emiru publicly accused Mizkif of sexual assault, psychological abuse, stalking, harassment, threats of blackmail, and more.
The main points that Emiru described include:
She says the relationship ended in 2024, but the impact lasted into 2025.
She alleges Mizkif threatened her if she ever spoke out: “If you ever talk about me, I’ll destroy you.”
The timing: just days after a fan assault incident at TwitchCon 2025 – which Emiru says triggered her decision to go public.
Hashtags like #BanMizkif trended across Twitter/X, Reddit, and Twitch chatrooms.
OTK released a statement on October 27, 2025, saying Mizkif “holds no stake” in the org and was terminated “some time ago.”
Mizkif responded via livestream, admitted to “toxic relationship” behavior (slamming doors, punching walls) but denied full responsibility.
On November 5, 2025, Mizkif filed a federal defamation lawsuit against Emiru, fellow streamer Asmongold, OTK Media Inc., Mythic Talent Management Inc., and King Gaming Labs Inc.
He claims reputational harm and lost revenue. Meanwhile the court of public opinion is clicking “L” in chat.
So the vibes became:
Streamer drama -> public reckoning
Content house fallout -> loss of shares/ownership
Lawsuit filed -> narrative and legal theater
I honestly doubt anything will come from Mizkif’s lawsuit and Discovery will likely bring more things to light that I’m sure he doesn’t want out in the open…
Because when you’ve got TV-level drama in a chatroom, a soundtrack is overdue.
Some of the lyrical themes you’ll hear in the song:
Gaslighting (“Goated on the gaslight…”) seems pretty self-explanatory.
Drama farm (the constant churn of scandal, multiple instances of fake tears, clip-culture).
Twitch Court / audience as jury (chat spams “Ls”, receipts don’t sleep).
One True King / cardboard crown (narrative of loss and dethroning).
AI apology / “Sorry.exe failed” (meta jab at performative creator apologies with many thinking that his apology was disingenuous).
Audience decline / views vs. Emiru’s rise (why the jealousy…he’s always seemed jelly of Emiru’s numbers so this one is pretty easy as well).
Twitch hasn’t officially banned Mizkif yet…but the pressure is pretty intense.
The lawsuit is ongoing, and discovery could open up private messages, contracts, DM threads that I don’t think would end well for Mizkif.
Emiru’s influence is growing; the story is shifting from personal to systemic (creator-safety, org accountability), but everyone already loves Emiru before this so not a good look on Mizkif.
As for the song: “Miztakes” drops as both commentary and funsies – so press play, let me know what you think in the comments, and maybe keep your “L” spam handy.

Hi, I'm the founder and editor-in-chief of Report AFK, a gaming and anime site built for people who are tired of sanitized mainstream media coverage and toothless hot takes. I want to bring both the technical know-how and battle-tested gamer instincts to every article here. I've worked in digital marketing and spoke in conferences nationwide, but my heart’s always been in the trenches of gaming - whether that’s grinding ladders, theorycrafting late at night, or binge-watching the 38th questionable isekai this season. Follow my rants, insights, and updates on ReportAFK.com and let me know what you think in the comments - I read (and usually respond to) every. single. one.
A place for gamers, by gamers, untarnished by corporate gaming media and their nonstop attempts to elevate bad games while denouncing any developers brave enough to stand up to them.
