My anime loving brothers and sisters, brace yourselves!
The end of 2025 and the start of 2026 are stacked with hype, heartbreak, and some of the most anticipated shows we’ve been waiting on for years. Between iconic finales, long-awaited returns, and cinematic showstoppers, this anime season is basically a buffet of serotonin for anyone who’s been starved for good content.
Quick spoiler disclaimer: I’m keeping this light, more like a hype trailer than a manga deep-dive. No big plot bombs here. Just enough to get you excited…and maybe convince you to start stockpiling ramen for a proper binge.

Let’s be real: My Hero Academia has been one of the biggest shonen juggernauts of the last decade. From Deku’s “quirkless underdog to full-blown hero” rise, to Bakugo screaming his way into everyone’s hearts, to All Might’s legendary “United States of Smash,” the series has been a wild ride.
Now, we’re at the finish line.
The final season is set to adapt the “Final War” arc, which means everything we’ve been building toward is about to come crashing down in glorious, quirk-fueled chaos. Expect high-stakes battles, emotional gut punches, and some well-deserved payoffs for long-running character arcs.
It’s honestly bittersweet – watching Deku’s journey end feels like graduating from U.A. ourselves. But honestly? I’m ready to see how Horikoshi ties a bow on this era-defining series. If you’ve stuck with MHA this long, there’s no way you’re missing the finale.

If My Hero Academia is the superhero hype train, To Your Eternity is the gut-punch philosophy class you didn’t know you needed. This show is about immortality, humanity, and what it actually means to live – but with the emotional subtlety of a freight train hitting you at full speed.
Season 1 gave us the fee fees and Season 2 twisted the knife. Season 3? Yeah, go ahead and pre-order your tissue boxes now. Without giving too much away, expect more soul-searching, world-building, and the kind of character development that’ll have you questioning your own existence at 2 AM.
It’s not just sad though…To Your Eternity has this rare ability to be devastating and uplifting at the same time. It’s heavy, but it’s also one of the most rewarding anime experiences out there. And with how Season 2 wrapped up, Season 3 looks like it’s going to dig even deeper into Fushi’s purpose and evolution.
(Pro tip: if you missed my other articles on To Your Eternity, check that those posts too to get a better sense of just how special this anime is.)

Ah yes, Demon Slayer. The anime that basically turned every seasonal anime drop into an event. Ufotable’s visuals have been jaw-dropping from day one, and the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba Infinity Castle The Movie proves they’re not done melting our eyeballs with pure spectacle.
Seeing this in theaters was nothing short of an experience.
Without giving anything away – the animation was liquid fire, the fight choreography left the audience gasping, and the emotional beats hit like a Hashira sword straight to the chest.
It’s flashy. It’s brutal. And it’s the kind of cinematic finale that makes you wonder why more anime don’t go this route. If you thought the Mugen Train movie was wild, Infinity Castle makes it look like a warm-up.
This is peak Demon Slayer: insane battles, devastating stakes, and the kind of animation that’ll be studied in AMVs for the next decade. If you’re not already hyped for the trilogy’s conclusion, go watch the trailer again and tell me your jaw doesn’t drop.
You can’t (legally) watch the new Demon Slayer movie online, but you can catch up on the previous season on Crunchyroll before hitting up the theater!

Saitama is back, baby – and the bald badass is still just as deadpan as ever.
The running joke of One-Punch Man has always been simple: he can end fights with a single punch, but somehow it never gets old. That’s because the series has always been more than just Saitama; it’s about the insane supporting cast, the wild villains, and the hilariously over-the-top battles that parody and honor shonen tropes all at once.
Season 1 gave us animation so clean it broke the internet. Season 2 stumbled a little but still delivered some gems. Season 3? All signs point to the Monster Association Arc, which is one of the best parts of the manga. Expect way more screentime for the supporting heroes, a deeper dive into the villains, and yes – plenty of Saitama’s vacant face while the world burns around him.
If they nail the production this time, this could be the season that reminds everyone why One-Punch Man took the anime scene by storm in the first place.
Unfortunately, due to licensing, you can only watch One-Punch Man (legally) on Hulu and Disney (eww).

Okay, this one’s technically winter, but I don’t care!
The wait for Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 has been too long and it’s too big to just leave off. Jujutsu Kaisen has already proven itself as one of the new pillars of shonen, and Season 3 is going to keep that momentum rolling.
So far, we’ve had cursed spirits, tragic backstories, god-tier fights, and one of the most charismatic casts in modern anime. Season 1 hooked us. Season 2 broke us (Shibuya Incident fans, you know what I mean). Season 3? We’re diving into the Culling Game arc, which is about to raise the stakes even higher.
MAPPA’s track record has been…controversial at best. Fans love the show but worry about the production crunch. Still, if they can pull this off, Season 3 might end up being the most ambitious JJK season yet. And I, for one, am already blocking off January to binge it the second it drops.
So yeah, Fall 2025 through Winter 2026 is stacked and I’m here for it.
We’ve got the bittersweet end of My Hero Academia, the emotional journey of To Your Eternity, the cinematic juggernaut of Demon Slayer, the triumphant return of One-Punch Man, and the cursed-energy chaos of Jujutsu Kaisen.
Whether you’re here for the feels, the fights, or just to scream at Twitter about your favorite character, this lineup is a feast. Mark your calendars, cancel your weekend plans, and stockpile some instant noodles.
The anime winter is coming – and it’s looking glorious.

Hi, I'm the founder and editor-in-chief of Report AFK, a gaming and anime site built for people who are tired of sanitized mainstream media coverage and toothless hot takes. I want to bring both the technical know-how and battle-tested gamer instincts to every article here. Whether I'm deep-diving into ARAM strats, roasting a broken patch, or side-eyeing the latest "diverse" but soulless AAA release, I write with one goal in mind: cut the fluff and tell it how it is. I've worked in digital marketing and spoke in conferences nationwide, but my heart’s always been in the trenches of gaming - whether that’s grinding ladders, theorycrafting late at night, or binge-watching the 38th questionable isekai this season. Follow my rants, insights, and updates on ReportAFK.com and let me know what you think in the comments - I read (and usually respond to) every. single. one.
A place for gamers, by gamers, untarnished by corporate gaming media and their nonstop attempts to elevate bad games while denouncing any developers brave enough to stand up to them.
