R.E.P.O. Open Beta Item Guide: All New Weapons Explained!

REPO Open Beta New Weapons Guide

R.E.P.O. Just Dropped the Wildest Weapons Yet in the Open Beta

If you thought R.E.P.O. was already a chaotic co-op horror ride, buckle up.

The open beta just unleashed a fresh batch of weapons that are as absurd as they are deadly. From slapping a bucket on a killer duck to turning your cart into a rolling death machine, here’s the lowdown on the latest arsenal additions.

Duck Bucket: Because Why Not?

Duck Bucket Cost: $6k - $7k

The Duck Bucket exists for one glorious reason: to humiliate the Apex Predator.

Drop it over the Duck’s head like you’re in an old Looney Tunes short, and just watch the poor thing waddle around, completely nerfed. No death transformation. No teleporting. Just an angry duck in a bucket.

It’s both hilarious and surprisingly effective.

Pulse Pistol: The Knockback King

Pulse Pistol Cost: $15k - $16k

It might look like a Ray Gun from a retro alien invasion flick, but the Pulse Pistol means business. I actually have an entire guide dedicated to the Pulse Pistol in R.E.P.O., but here’s some top-level stuff to get you started:

Fire this bad boy and watch enemies fly backward, stunned for up to four seconds. It’s especially handy for launching monsters like the Robe, Headman, or Reaper into lava pits or off the map – if you’ve got the aim (and the guts).

It’s crowd control with a side of “get off my lawn.”

Boltzap: Chain Reaction Mayhem

Boltzap Cost: $17k - $18k

Probably my favorite new weapon – it’s a crossbow with a chip on its shoulder. The Boltzap is all about chaos in tight quarters.

Enemies will drop, but they’ll pop back up in 2-4 seconds. It’s a decent stun weapon and an even better meme generator. Think of it like a Tranq Gun that actually deals damage.

Prodzap: Stun and Run

Prodzap Cost: $28k - $29k

The Prodzap is less about doing damage and more about buying yourself time to scream internally.

One good zap, and the monster eats dirt. You’ve got around three seconds to run, regroup, or switch to a proper murder tool. It’s not flashy, but it’s saved my butt more times than I’d like to admit.

Cart Laser: Fry 'Em Where They Stand

Cart Laser Cost: $42k - $44k

Mounted to your cart, the Cart Laser trades burst damage for sustained pain.

It’s ideal for high-health enemies that you need to bully into retreating. Just reposition and keep the beam going. Think “Death Star, but with training wheels.”

Cart Cannon: Boom on Wheels

Cart Laser Cost: $40k - $44k

Big gun. On a cart. Four charges. One-shots everything. Enough said.

You’ll want to get close to make every shot count, but if you like your horror games with a side of carnage, this is the way. You can catch the cannon in glorious, over-the-top action in their newest video:

Dev Notes: This Ain’t Just Random Junk

These additions aren’t just wild ideas tossed at a wall.

The devs at semiwork are genuinely tuning gameplay with these drops. They’ve patched health glitches, made enemies easier to stagger, and introduced new mechanics like Overcharge to keep things spicy.

The new weapons aren’t just strong – they’re fun. And that’s the point.

New R.E.P.O. Weapons: Wacky, Wild, and Weirdly Effective

Whether you’re running from demons, slapping buckets on apex predators, or turning your shopping cart into a rolling war crime, R.E.P.O. has hit peak chaotic energy with this latest update.

The best part?

It’s only the beta. So get weird, stay strapped, and don’t forget to laugh while you die.
