Rockstar just dropped the second trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI, and in true GTA fashion, the internet exploded.
We’re talking 15 million views in under three hours—an absolutely disgusting flex from a franchise that’s been chilling on GTA V since the Obama administration.
The new trailer gives us a sun-soaked look at Leonida (aka Not-Florida) and introduces us to Jason and Lucia—our new chaos agents in crime. But it also came with a twist: the game’s been delayed until May 2026.
So yeah, more waiting.
Yay…
But before we go full rage-mode about the delay, let’s talk about the trailer, the weird rumor mill, and why this game might be getting a much-needed de-wokification pass.
Rockstar doesn’t miss when it comes to hype, and this trailer proved it again.
Visually, it’s stunning—neon lights, funderful brawls, high-speed chases, and more Instagram filters than a Miami influencer convention.
The Bonnie-and-Clyde dynamic between Lucia and Jason looks gritty and violent in all the right ways.
Plus, there’s finally some gameplay hints in there, and it’s looking pretty damn slick.
But let’s not pretend like everyone’s just enjoying the show.
The moment Lucia was revealed, the same tired Reddit clowns crawled out of their holes, screaming that she’s trans.
Why? Because leftist gamers want to try to claim anything they can as woke to try and get a W.
But Rockstar hasn’t said a damn thing confirming that, and the new trailer doesn’t lean into that speculation at all. Honestly, it looks like they scrubbed all traces of that flavor of pandering.
Maybe they realized that, what can only be called as “woke purple”, doesn’t pay the bills when it comes to GTA fans.

Just as fans were busy analyzing every frame of that sweet, sweet trailer, Rockstar casually slipped in the news: GTA VI won’t be dropping until May 2026.
That’s an extra year of thumb-twiddling, meme-sharing, and praying they don’t pull a Cyberpunk 2077 on us.
Now, the official excuse is “polish and quality.”
But between us?
We’re betting this delay has a lot more to do with quietly purging the game of whatever leftover woke sludge was still hanging around from early development.
If Rockstar is smart—and they are—they’re going to spend this extra year making sure GTA VI doesn’t get added to the growing pile of 2024’s DEI-induced flops.
Let’s not sugarcoat it—GTA has never been about safe spaces, pronoun circles, or preachy messages.
This franchise made its name by being the middle finger to polite society. So when rumors started flying in 2023 about GTA VI going full woke, fans rightfully panicked.
It didn’t help that 2024 was a dumpster fire for woke games pushing this exact crap.
Studios that spent more time hiring diversity consultants than gameplay designers got clapped hard by players. Nobody wants to buy a $70 sermon wrapped in a half-baked shooter.
Thankfully, the new GTA VI trailer feels like Rockstar heard the feedback.
Gone are the forced “inclusivity” moments.
Gone is the vibe that the game might stop the action to lecture you on systemic oppression.
Instead, we’re back to guns, getaways, and good old-fashioned criminal chaos. Fingers crossed they keep it that way.
GTA isn’t just a game—it’s a cultural landmark. Every entry has pushed boundaries and dropped jaws.
From the 3D leap in GTA III to the storytelling masterclass in GTA IV, and the chaotic sandbox of GTA V—this series gets its audience. It thrives on satire, absurdity, and pushing buttons.
So when fans smell something off—like forced agendas—they get nervous. And with good reason.
If GTA VI turns into just another checkbox simulator, it risks losing the magic that made it a global juggernaut. Thankfully, the trailer says otherwise.
Let’s just hope the boardroom doesn’t get cold feet and start injecting that sweet corporate Kool-Aid last minute.
Let’s be real. At the end of the day, the GTA VI trailer slapped and GTA VI sales are gonna be just fine – it’s a GTA title.
The delay?
Annoying, but understandable—if it means we’re getting a raw, unapologetic Grand Theft Auto experience. If Rockstar is taking this year to cut the fluff, drop the lectures, and lean into what made the series iconic, then bring it on.
Lucia isn’t trans, the vibe isn’t preachy, and Leonida looks like a beautifully chaotic playground. Keep it that way, Rockstar. The last thing we need is another DEI-infested flop dragging the franchise through the mud. Just give us drugs, guns, betrayal, and satire.
You know, the good stuff.
