While we already covered the Cult of the Lamb Woolhaven release announcement, Massive Monster has unveiled even more information on their biggest expansion yet (that’s not just another villager pack).
Woolhaven is a full-length story DLC set to drop in early 2026, and from what we’ve seen, it’s going to push your cult harder than ever before.

The setup is as metal as ever: Yngya, the long-forgotten God of the lambs, calls you back to rebuild a lost mountain town. But as you piece together history and save souls, corruption called “the Rot” seeps through the land, warping everything it touches.
Translation: it’s not just about cozy wool blankets, your flock is going to suffer.
This isn’t just another lazy cash grab – Woolhaven adds funderful mechanics that flip the script on how you run your cult.
Some of the highlights of this upcoming DLC include:
Survival Mechanics: Blizzards, frostbite, famine. Build new structures or watch your Followers freeze.
Ranching & Mounts: Breed rare creatures for wool, warmth, and meat. Oh, and yes, you can ride them into battle like a frostbitten badass.
New Biome: Finally climb the snowcapped mountain that’s been taunting you since launch.

Dungeons & Bosses: Two massive new dungeons packed with corrupted horrors, wolves, and some very familiar shadows sharpening their knives.
Lore Bomb: The history of lambkind gets cracked wide open, with Yngya sitting right in the middle of it all.
Basically, it’s Civilization meets Don’t Starve Together. A balance of keeping your flock alive in brutal conditions while exploring, raiding, and rebuilding.
Every expansion until now has been free little morsels; nice, but not game-changing.
Woolhaven though? Now this is a meal.
Massive Monster is layering survival mechanics on top of cult management and dungeon crawling, which means more chaos, more strategy, and more ways for your followers to die hilarious deaths.

It’s the kind of DLC that could keep Cult of the Lamb alive well past its original hype cycle. And judging by how many people already smashed that wishlist button, the community’s hungry for the Happy Meal of funsies.
The devs are playing coy with the details. Here’s what’s still up in the frosty air:
Release Date: Just “early 2026.” Could be January, could be June. I’m guessing January-ish.
Price Tag: It’s clearly premium, but no exact numbers released just yet.
Platforms: This should be available for all major platforms including Steam (PC & Mac), PS4+PS5, Xbox (One and Xbox Series X/S), and Nintendo Switch.
Cult of the Lamb: Woolhaven isn’t just more of the same. It’s a full shakeup. Expect cold nights, starving cultists, and a mountain full of corrupted nightmares.
Or in other words: perfect chaos.
Bundle up, you crazy kool-aid passing cult leaders. The mountain’s calling you!
