Marvel Rivals Update 20250619: Hero Buffs, Twitch Drops & Skins

Marvel Rivals June Update Hero Buffs Events and More

Bubblegum Venom, Twitch Drops That Slap, and Hero Reworks

Ready to burst your expectations? The latest update for Marvel Rivals just landed, and it’s a whole buffet of chaos.

From a new limited-time event with a skin that’s either cursed or iconic, to Twitch drops with serious drip and balance changes that might finally make Thor less of a liability, this patch is stacked.

Let’s dive into the bubble bath of buffs, nerfs, and good ol’ fashioned bug stomping.

Venom’s Bubble Pop: Cute, Cursed, or Both?

Venom has officially entered his bubblegum era. No, really. The new limited-time event Venom’s Bubble Pop is live until July 11 (UTC) and it’s… something. The free reward track will net you a Human Torch Future Foundation skin, some sprays, and emotes.

But if you’re itching to throw some coin around, the premium track has that now-infamous Pink Bubble Venom costume.

Yes, it’s a thing. Yes, it’s weirdly adorable. No, we don’t know why. But it comes with costume currency, and that’s worth the grind alone.

If you’re a cosmetics goblin, this event is solid. Just don’t act surprised when you see pink Venom T-posing in your kill cam.

You asked for this.

Twitch Drops Are Back, and They Brought the Drip

From June 19 to July 16 (UTC), you can snag more funderful loot just by watching the Marvel Rivals Ignite Tournament. Watch enough of the action and you’ll earn:

  • Galacta’s Will costume for Magik

  • A Magik-themed spray, emote, and nameplate

No paywall. No catch. Just link your Twitch account, turn on the stream, and rake in that cosmic aesthetic. It’s a free flex, and who doesn’t love a little free bling?

Bug Fixes That Actually Make the Game Less Dumb

Some of the funniest bugs in Marvel Rivals have officially been banished to the shadow realm. Here’s what the devs finally slapped with the fix hammer:

Wolverine: Unstoppable No More

Turns out Logan’s Wild Ride was a bit too wild. His Ultimate used to launch even “Unstoppable” enemies into the sky. That’s been fixed. If you want to send people flying now, they better not be invincible.

Mister Fantastic: Terrain Yeets Cancelled

Reed’s stretchy nonsense was occasionally causing him to fumble into terrain-based self-KOs (which was admittedly hilarious). No more Fantastic Flops.

The devs gave him a GPS update.

Hulk: Leap UI Recalibrated

Gamma-powered leap charge now shows accurate progress. No more “why didn’t that work” moments when you try to land like a thicc green meteor.

Black Widow: Pulse Rifle Packs a Punch Again

Her Team-Up ability wasn’t damaging breakable objects. That’s been restored. Natasha’s back on her wrecking crew energy.

Ultron: Patch Stability Restored

Sometimes using Ultron’s “Imperative: Patch” would cancel the ability entirely. That’s been cleaned up, so now your robot overlord powers activate with all the funsies that were intended.

Balance Changes: Buffs, Nerfs, and Some Long-Overdue Love

Let’s talk brass tacks. This patch brought more than bug cleanup. Some heroes got well-deserved tweaks, while others got quietly smacked with the nerf bat.

Vanguard

Thor

Awakening Rune now includes manual canceling after a short delay. That’s right. You can finally stop hammer time early. Quality-of-life upgrade that puts the power back in your Asgardian hands.

Duelist

Moon Knight

Health buffed from 250 to 275. Just a little love for Khonshu’s boy. He’s still not top-tier, but he’ll last a few seconds longer in a brawl, and that counts for something.

Star-Lord

Damage falloff adjusted. His Element Guns now maintain stronger damage at mid-range. From 60 percent falloff at 25 meters to 65 percent. Not a game-changer, but if you play peekaboo from cover, you’ll feel it.

Storm

Her Ultimate, Omega Hurricane, now costs more energy. Upped from 3100 to 3400. That’s a subtle but meaningful way to slow down spam without gutting her entirely.

Let’s be honest, this is pretty fair play.

Team-Up Ability Tuning

These got special attention. Some pairings were a little too spicy, and this patch adds a splash of water to the fire.

Chilling Assault (Luna Snow and Hawkeye)

  • Ice Arrow damage reduced from 30 (120 max) to 25 (100 max)

  • Stun duration past 30m range cut from 1.5 seconds to 0.8

  • Spell Field Damage range nerfed from 3m to 1m

Translation: No more long-range ice snipes that lock you in place for half a year.

Jeff-nado (Storm and Jeff the Land Shark)

  • Devour time increased from 1.2 to 1.5 seconds

Jeff still eats heroes whole. He just needs to chew his food now.

Rocket Network (Rocket and Peni Parker)

  • Spider-Nest cooldown increased from 20 to 30 seconds

This team-up was everywhere. The cooldown nerf might slow down the frequency of “now you see me, now you’re trapped” setups.

What This Marvel Rivals Update Means for the Meta

  • Thor’s changes give players more control, which is huge in tight team fights.

  • Storm and Jeff get hit just enough to bring them closer to Earth without deleting them from the meta.

  • Moon Knight is inching toward viability, but don’t expect him to suddenly become S-tier overnight.

  • Team-Up abilities are getting curated. The devs are making sure synergies don’t turn into cheese factories.

The Future of Marvel Rivals

Overall, I think these changes are a net positive.

Nothing feels game-breaking, but the tweaks keep things fresh. The Venom event gives casuals and tryhards something to grind, and the bug fixes clean up some long-standing frustrations.

This Marvel Rivals Update Delivers the Fire

You’ve got a pink Venom skin that’ll haunt your dreams, Twitch drops that actually slap, and a patch that balances the sandbox without wrecking it.

Whether you’re grinding ranked, flexing cosmetics, or just here for Jeff the Land Shark’s chaotic energy, Marvel Rivals is in a good spot right now.

Now get out there and pop some bubbles, you absolute legends.
